Pictures of the M4A4 Sherman Vc test build model.

Using parts from the Tamiya 1:48 scale Sherman IC kit, plus some spare tools from the M4A1, the Fighting 48th M4A4 hull hull kit has been used here to create a Sherman VC Firefly. The optional tow bar is shown separately. The kit includes a new hull top and lower sections, track extensions and details such as exhausts, tow bar, lifting eyes and periscopes cast in polyurethane resin. Photo etched brass is used to provide smaller details such as brush guards, brackets, bin lid and engine grille.
