Three pictures of Jay Lavertys M4A4 Sherman Vc Firefly built using the Tamiya Ic and our FF001 conversion kit. He has also added some storage items from other aftermarket sets, and we think you will agree he has certainly made an impressive and realistic model! This project was featured in a recent issue of Military Modelling Magazine where Jay described in great detail how he made this model. Many thanks to Jay for allowing us to use his photos here.

Three more pictures by Steve Zaloga, showing his superb rendition of a M4A4 Crab built using our sets FF001 and FF006, together with the T62 tracks from set FF007. Again, Steve has added numerous other details to suit the actual subject matter, such as the fabric dust covers over the gun muzzle and mantlet, and the tow bars slung from the hull side. Many thanks to Steve for letting us present his wonderful model on our website! A comprehensive article covering this model has been printed in the 28th November 2008 issue of Military Modelling magazine.

Two pictures from Pat Johnston of a Firefly Vc conversion, using the Tamiya Firefly Ic as a basis, plus our kit FF001, plus the T62 tracks from our set FF007. The turned aluminium barrel is am Armorscale item. Pat has promised us some pictures when the model is painted and weathered.

Carlos from Santander has combined the FF001 kit with the Firefly turret made my MR Models of Germany. Another very effective conversion, showing how our kits can be combined with other manufacturers products to give unique and accurate models which would be impossible to produce from the base plastic kits alone.

Konrad Schreiers beautifully finished M4A4 shows again how a basic Tamiya kit can be converted and enhanced. Our kit FF001 and T62 tracks are in there, plus some stowage, smoke dischargers and tow cables, topped off with some crew figures adapted from the Tamiya British figure set.

If you have any pictures of a Fighting 48th! model project, do let us see them and we would be very pleased to consider them for inclusion on this gallery page. Our e-mail address is info@fighting48th.com .
